45ACP when possible. 380 ACP most often. Both with FMJ Double Tap. Basically anything less than 45 is a substitute because you have to for some reason.

My new favorite caliber has become "whatever is available at WalMart!"

Smiley   You can't afford to be picky these days.  Ammo is hard to find.

you're lucky if you can find any ammo at WalMart. None here.

Chattanooga TN WalMarts usually have a bit of either 40S&W or 9mm, usually some .22 stingers, and some Winchester AK ammo.  Also some 30/30 and other deer rifle calibers.  Handgun ammo tends to be sparse.  I usually buy  100 rounds whenever I go of 40 or 9, if they have any in stock.  It comes and goes.

Great photo, greyeyezz!! You will enjoy the discussions about the .357 Sig in the SemiAuto forum and the Sig Owners forum. Be sure to post some of your experiences there.

And, Oh, BTW, be sure to make a post right away in the New Members section up top, as required by the site administrator.

Cheers,

It's no wonder 9mm is so popular. Police everywhere have it so it must be good.

Since I carry pocket guns mine right now is the .357magnum in my S&W M&P 360 revolver in a Mika pocket holster.

Whatever I happen to be carrying at the time the SHF is my favorite at the moment.  It could be a 380 acp, 9mm, 38 spl, 357 mag, 40 S&W, 44 spl, 45 acp or a 45 colt.  However if it were about frequency of carry then I'd have to say 380 acp because no matter what the occasion my LCP is ALWAYS with me no matter what. There will be others as I often carry two firearms, but elsie is always there!

Guess I'll have to agree with Preacherman and get whatever Walmart has on the shelf. Ammo here is easing up a bit in Texas, ,but JHP. is still in short supply. As for favorite caliber ,I'll say 9mm. because of more rounds .
