GoldDot bullet from WetPack

Comparison with other test methods.
« on: December 24, 2007, 07:36:18 AM »

Mention has been made with links to other test sites such as stoppingpower, brassfetcher, box-o-truth, etc. for info on ballistics of various ammo, firearms, and such. Those sites are fine and serve the members who go there. In no way are we trying to compete with those sites and neither are they competing with us.

This site is dedicated to wetpack testing and the rules, methods used, etc. have been fully posted already. We find the wetpack method to be adequate for what it is...an informational test to compare brands of ammo out of the same firearms or to compare firearms with the same ammo. We have always posted our disclaimer that the wetpack is not some kind of FBI approved or "certified" test. Choice of ammo, etc. based on reports posted here are your choice and come with no warranty whatsoever.

Therefore, in view of that, I will no longer honor discussions that refer to other test sites with links to those sites. I've even done that some myself.  Sorry, but that's not our pupose and such links will be deleted in the future.
